Welcome to Balgedie Lodge

Balgedie Lodge is a charming holiday cottage set in the stunning rural location of Easter Balgedie, 30 minutes north of Edinburgh, near Kinross, with extraordinary views of Loch Leven and the Lomond Hills. It is a perfect little haven, whether you're looking for a family holiday, a romantic escape, or a base for exploring many of the wonders of Scotland castles and golf courses, beaches and mountains.

Built in the late 1800's as a original gate lodge for Balgedie House, the cottage has recently been extensively refurbished and is described as both comfortable and homely. It is very family friendly, sleeping five in three bedrooms and there is an extra bed or cot available on request.

There is a very well equipped kitchen, a beautiful sunroom and two bathrooms. Being all on one level and with an enclosed garden, it is pet friendly too.

The Lodge provides a great base for exploring Central Scotland, Fife’s coastal villages and beaches and all the wonderful Perthshire countryside too. Outdoor enthusiasts, especially walkers, cyclist, golfers and fishermen are spoilt for choice! And guests wanting to enjoy the Scottish history and heritage will be kept busy with all the many castles and sites to see nearby with Mary Queen of Scots enthusiasts and Outlander fans very well catered for!
